Coesia has acquired 100 per cent of the share capital of Automation & Modular Components through its company FlexLink. The company intends to strengthen its presence on the US market.
Automation & Modular Components, LLC. (AMC) is a manufacturer of material handling automation systems with integrated controls and conveyors for integration into assembly systems and production lines based in Davinsburg, Michigan, USA. AMC serves a variety of industries including automotive, food packaging, medical, appliances, metal fabrication, electronics, glass, pharmaceutical, alternative energy and household products with its heavy-duty applications. AMC will expand the presence of Coesia and FlexLink in the US market, particularly in the battery sector and where a combined assembly or production process requires applications for heavy and light material handling.
