Weiss GmbH is exhibiting a new conveyor system with magnetic levitation technology at Motek. It is designed for the flexible transport of workpiece carriers.
The special technical feature of the Conveyor systems are the direct drives. Conventional mechanical Drive elements are no longer required. The advantage of this type of design is that the speed, transport direction and positioning of each individual Pallet can be programmed independently of each other. Workpiece carrier and Process axis can be synchronised. The conveyor system is designed to simplify assembly tasks for small and medium-sized series. The manufacturer promises short set-up times for quick product changes.
Another topic at the Weiss stand will be „Augmented Reality“ (AR). Visitors will have the opportunity to virtually test some of the Weiss products using AR glasses.
