For the sixth time in a row, the Forum Wellpappe Austria honoured outstanding product ideas made of corrugated board. Baby elephant, bag-in-box, high-tech mailing envelope for micro-chips, sample case for cable plugs, just-in-recycling box, to Vienna Ferris wheel. This is just a small selection of the packaging ideas that were submitted to the Corrugated Board Austria Award this year.
An independent jury of experts nominated the finalists from 37 entries and selected the winners. The Corrugated Board Austria Award is presented in six categories: from creative, constructive, point-of-sale and display to sustainable. In the young talent category, a Facebook vote decided the winner.
