At Fachpack 2025, the European packaging company Coveris will be presenting a broad portfolio of innovative solutions made of plastic, paper and cardboard for food, beverages and logistics.

The realisation of the „No Waste“ vision is at the centre of the trade fair presentation. Particularly in the spotlight: SleeveFlexR Stretch, a Sustainable sleeve solution with recycled content of up to 75 per cent, produced from recyclates from our own ReCover-Deinking recycling plant. The range is complemented by FilmLiteR Stretch, a fully recyclable transport film for beverage packaging with over 30 per cent recycled content - produced with 100 per cent renewable energy.

„All the packaging solutions we are presenting at FachPack are in line with our ‚No Waste‘ vision and show the progress we have already made towards greater sustainability. Whether it's the development of recyclable packaging, the promotion of the circular economy with ReCover or the commitment to greater sustainability in our teams, at our sites and in our corporate culture - we are driving change that will strengthen our industry and our partners in the long term.“

Rethinking packaging - for freshness and recycling

Coveris has two innovative solutions for the food sector:

  • BarrierFresh MAP reduces the amount of plastic in meat, fish and poultry packaging by up to 90 per cent. It combines an EVOH barrier film with cardboard for high recyclability.
  • MonoFlexBP is a resealable packaging solution without PET/PA, ideal for cheese and meat products.

Also in the trade fair luggage:

  • Ultra-Low SIT CPP films, that seal even at low temperatures - efficient, robust, recycling-friendly.
  • MonoFlexFibre Pure Max, a paper-based mono-material for cereals, protein bars and chocolate, fully recyclable in the paper stream.

Invisible protection for greater safety

Coveris will also be showcasing its SourceTag series: Integrated security solutions for labels and cartons, where RFID or other protective functions are integrated directly into the printed image. This solution works seamlessly with existing retail processes, provides discreet theft protection and improves stock management.
