The Expo for Decarbonised Industries ENERGY STORAGE (decarbXpo) is being expanded to become the leading trade fair for Power-to-X technologies and products. The Power-to-X-for-Applications working group of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA) and Messe Düsseldorf have now signed an agreement to this end. The upcoming event will take place from 20 to 22 September 2022 at the exhibition grounds in Düsseldorf alongside glasstec, the world's leading trade fair for the glass industry.
The VDMA will contribute its expertise and industry contacts to expand the trade fair's range of products and services relating to the Topics green hydrogen and Power-to-X to strengthen the programme. Among other things, Power-to-X-for-Applications will be involved in the programme design of the decarbXpo and the forums, as well as contributing its own trade fair presence.

The VDMA has been a partner of numerous industrial goods trade fairs in Düsseldorf for many years, including the world's leading trade fairs for energy-intensive industries such as glass and metal production.
