Delkeskamp acquires Friedrich Freund Kartonagenfabrik

On 1 January 2021, the Nortrup-based Delkeskamp Group will take over Friedrich Freund GmbH Kartonagenfabrik, a specialist in offset-printed packaging based in Nordhausen.

With effect from 1 January 2021, the Nortrup-based Delkeskamp Group is acquiring Friedrich Freund GmbH Kartonagenfabrik, a specialist in offset-printed packaging based in Nordhausen.

„We see the acquisition of this specialist in the production of offset-printed packaging as an ideal opportunity to Supplement for our production processes in the corrugated board business field“, says Stefan Delkeskamp, managing partner of the Delkeskamp Group of Companies, This allows us to combine the consulting expertise, technical know-how and existing order volume of both companies.

Friedrich Freund Kartonagenfabrik has been producing offset-printed packaging, primarily from corrugated cardboard, at its Nordhausen site since 2007. The company supplies customers from all sectors, especially the food industry with customised offset packaging and displays.

„In the Delkeskamp Group, we have found a buyer with whom Friedrich Freund GmbH Kartonagenfabrik, with its location in Nordhausen, is a good fit,“ says one of the two managing directors of Friedrich Freund GmbH Kartonagenfabrik, Hans-Ulrich Schroeder.

„The location will be the Delkeskamp Group's competence centre for offset-printed packaging be,“ confirms Stefan Delkeskamp. „We are starting 2021 with confidence in the future. With our own packaging development, including a laboratory, as well as extensive technical and consulting expertise on site with our customers.“
