Holger Dechant will join the Deufol management team on 1 September 2025. The Hofheim am Taunus-based company, a leading provider of end-to-end supply chain solutions, is thus strengthening its leadership in the field of heavy goods and project logistics.
In his new role, Dechant will continue to develop the Hub Network & Project Solutions division strategically and operationally. The focus will be on establishing standards and processes in heavy goods transport management and promoting digital solutions. Deufol is thus adding a central component to its service portfolio and strengthening its end-to-end strategy, according to the statement.
Many years of industry experience
Holger Dechant has more than 30 years of experience in logistics. After holding various management positions, he was Managing Director of several companies at Universal Transport, Germany's largest heavy goods forwarder, from 2006 to 2022, where he was most recently responsible for around 200 million euros in turnover and 750 employees. Since 2022, he has headed Universal Transport under the umbrella of Gruber Logistics S.p.A.
