Germany and Switzerland are now part of Northern Europe for packaging specialist DS Smith Packaging. Both countries, as well as Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, were recently integrated into the „Northern Europe“ sales region. Trevor Callendar has thus expanded his responsibilities as head of this region.
Trevor Callander took over the position of „Sales, Marketing & Innovation Director“ for the Northern Europe region at DS Smith in November 2018. According to DS Smith, the British native has extensive leadership experience and management expertise. Among other things, he was a successful General Manager and Commercial Director at General Mills in several European markets. Most recently, he was also responsible for the Northern Europe region as Sales Director at General Mills.
Stefan Kunzmann has left the company
According to the company, the reorganisation of the sales region is linked to the departure of Stefan Kunzmann. The former Sales, Marketing & Innovation Director for the Central Europe region - which included Germany - has reportedly decided to leave DS Smith. He had been with the company since 2017.

DS Smith is represented in over 37 countries and is organised into four divisions: Packaging, Recycling, Paper and Plastics. According to the company, it employs more than 31,000 people.
