With the new DTM LF140e digital finisher, DTM Print, solution provider for speciality printers, offers an on-demand solution for finishing labels in short runs.
The compact system is suitable for simple, fast and cost-effective Label further processing on site. It can be used to cover all the processes involved. These range from unwinding the pre-printed rolls, laminating and digital contour cutting to weeding, splitting and rewinding the finished rolls.
Pre-printed rolls with a carrier width of between 100 mm (3.94’’) and 140 mm (5.51’’) and a maximum roll diameter of 200 mm (7.87’’) can be processed. According to the company, the DTM LF140e is therefore the ideal addition for all types of roll printers. The optical recognition of the printed control mark by means of a camera and an LED spotlight is particularly noteworthy. It guarantees Accurate repeatability even with complex cuts.

The DTM LF140e is delivered to the customer as a fully assembled and pre-installed system.
„The DTM LF140e offers the user full flexibility, unlimited variations in label design and a smooth workflow. We believe it will be of interest to a wide range of businesses. Especially for those who want to have full control over their label production from start to finish, with harmonised equipment from a competent source.“ Andreas Hoffmann, Managing Director of DTM Print
According to DTM Print, manufacturers of high-quality product labels can benefit from a number of advantages. Because when printing in full bleed, it is no longer necessary to pay attention to a precise label edge. There is also no need to set up a minimum distance between the labels. In-house short-run label production means a reduction in stock requirements, which saves time and money. In addition, lamination increases the Durability of the labels. Any paper material, whether for inkjet technology or based on dry toner, can be coated with it. As a result, special resistant labelling materials are no longer required.
