The French company „Duo Emballages“ is a new partner of Schütz. It recently became a member of the Schütz partner programme for the reconditioning of industrial transport packaging.
Contactor from Selters has been operating its own recycling system for more than 30 years for the recovery and reconditioning of emptied IBCs. Various partner companies equip the reclaimed transport packaging exclusively with original inner containers and components. Duo Emballages has been preparing IBCs since 1996
Duo Emballages based near Lille, has specialised in the recycling of used industrial packaging such as IBCs, plastic and steel drums since 1996. The company now operates at four locations. In addition to the plant in Willems, near the Belgian border, another one opened in Arras in 2008. This was followed by a branch in Compiègne in 2009. Duo Emballages is also present in the south of France with a production facility in Castres, thus shortening transport routes.

For the Schütz-Recobulk-Partner programme Duo Emballages' many years of experience in the IBC reconditioning as well as a common set of values with regard to quality standards, environmental protection and sustainability, according to Schütz. It is emphasised that Schütz, like the French company, attaches great importance to the careful use of resources. Even the washing water used for cleaning in the reconditioning process is cleaned and reused in a closed cycle.
One Recobulk saves 100 kilograms of CO2-emissions
As part of the partner programme, Schütz is now providing the French company with the necessary equipment and know-how for production as well as original spare parts. Duo Emballages is committed to supplying the standardised Process standards without deviations. These are regularly audited by Schütz.
According to Schütz, a remanufactured Recobulk container saves approx. 100 kilogrammes of CO2-emissions.
