With the EasyTake Box, Faller Packaging develops a packaging solution for the rapid corona test of the Freiburg-based medical technology company Spindiag.
With the EasyTake Box, packaging specialist Faller Packaging has developed a safe, space-saving and easy-to-use solution for a PCR-based rapid corona test. The test device is used at the point of sampling, for example in a hospital emergency room, and works with insertable test cartridges. These do not only have to be packed airtight, but also be ready to hand at all times.
On behalf of the Freiburg-based medical technology company Spindiag GmbH, which launched a PCR-based coronavirus rapid test on the market in November 2020, the development team at Faller Packaging in Waldkirch, Baden, a clever Transport and presentation packaging for the disposable cartridges: the so-called EasyTake Box.
EasyTake Box for different tests
The folding box is designed so that hospital staff can easily remove the test cartridges with one hand: either from a chute or from the top of the ready-to-use tray. In addition, the EasyTake Box has a Integrated fill level indicator and an integrated side compartment for the corresponding instructions for use. Coloured labels allow the same packaging to be used for cartridges of different tests. The user can always find their way around quickly thanks to the colour coding.
With its well thought-out and flexible design, the EasyTake Box from Faller Packaging helps to ensure a smooth and time-saving process in everyday hospital and laboratory work. This makes it an important component of a rapid coronavirus PCR test that can be carried out anywhere. In addition, the folding box is made of pure Mono cardboard material and is therefore 100 per cent recyclable.
