Cabka is presenting three innovative transport packaging solutions at Fachpack 2024. The market leader for products made from recycled plastic is focusing on sustainability and optimised logistics. New additions to the range are the Euro E7.2 pallet, the new Eco pallet series and the award-winning CHEP ZirConic large load carrier.

At the centre of the trade fair appearance of Cabka are the Euro E7.2 pallet, the innovative Eco pallet series and the CHEP ZirConic large load carrier. With these products, the company aims to minimise the Increase efficiency in logistics and at the same time offer sustainable solutions.

On the Trade fair visitors will be able to see the new Euro E7.2 range for the first time, which has been specially developed to Replacing wooden pallets in intralogistics. Cabka will also be presenting the next generation of eco pallets and the CHEP ZirConic large load carrier, which has already been honoured with the Red Dot Product Design Award 2024.

The new products from Cabka are characterised by their sustainable production recycled plastic and their complete recyclability at the end of the product life cycle. According to Cabka, these innovations help to reduce waste and support the circular economy. Companies that utilise these solutions could benefit from more efficient logistics processes and a reduction in their CO-footprint.

An award-winning large load carrier

Cabka presents the foldable CHEP ZirConic large load carrier, which is made from 97 per cent recycled plastic. The CHEP ZirConic was honoured with the Red Dot Product Design Award 2024 in the industrial packaging category for its innovative design.

The large load carrier offers a Modular design, which makes it easy to repair and replace individual components. This design also extends the service life of the product, which helps to reduce waste. CHEP ZirConic can hold up to 750 kg of cargo, which corresponds to a 33 per cent increase in capacity compared to similar products. The interior capacity has also been increased by 15 per cent.

Another feature of the CHEP ZirConic is its optimised foldability, which enables space-saving storage and more efficient use of the cargo space. This means that Transport costs and CO-emissions reduced. In addition, the large load carrier is equipped with a serial number that enables precise tracking.

An alternative to wooden pallets

Another highlight from Cabka is the Euro E7.2 pallet, which has been specially developed for use in intralogistics. It was designed as a replacement for conventional wooden pallets and offers the same dimensions and load capacities. According to Cabka, it can be easily integrated into existing logistics cycles.

The Euro E7.2 pallet is made of robust plastic and has a Long service life, even with intensive use. The smooth surface of the pallet also prevents damage to goods and conveyor systems, which can be caused by wood splinters or sharp edges.

Anti-slip strips and plugs ensure safe handling and provide stability during transport and stacking. At the end of its useful life, the pallet retains its material value as it is fully recyclable.

In addition to the Euro E7.2 pallet, Cabka is also presenting the new Eco E5.2 and Eco i5.2 pallets. These models have been developed for use in automated conveyor systems and high-bay warehouses and are designed for performance and cost efficiency. They are particularly suitable for returnable applications in sectors such as the automotive, retail and food industries.

The Eco pallets also consist of 100 per cent recycled plastic and are fully recyclable. They have a smooth, semi-closed top deck that is particularly suitable for delicate goods. Reinforced S-shaped blocks and corners provide additional impact resistance, while anti-slip plugs prevent the load from slipping.
