Disposable or reusable, packaging optimisation with AI, CO2 balancing and the new PPWR packaging regulation: there is a lot to discuss in the packaging community, and consumer requirements are also changing. How should industry, retailers and logistics service providers deal with these challenges - and ideally gain a competitive edge? Empack in Dortmund will provide the answers - from 7 to 8 May 2025, followed four weeks later, from 3 to 4 June 2025, by Empack in Hamburg. At both locations, the trade fair will take place together with Logistics & Automation.

The Empack concept is unique for a trade fair for the packaging community. As a regional trade fair, it offers a condensed update on the most important innovations and industry solutions - with a very practical focus. Visitors receive answers to their specific questions, for example: Which innovation will take my company forward? Where can I find a supplier for bio-based or reusable packaging materials? Which partners are suitable for regional networking? What impact will the new PPWR have on my business and how can I label my packaging in a tamper-proof way?

Maria Soloveva, Project Manager at Easyfairs: „At Empack, users can get a comprehensive but compact overview of the market, familiarise themselves with new products and solutions and make efficient use of the day at the trade fair - in a relaxed atmosphere and in dialogue with industry experts.“ The spectrum ranges from packaging materials, protective and transport packaging, labelling and automated solutions to software.

Traditionally, the supporting programme has a high priority at Empack.
