Packaging manufacturer Coveris has been recognised several times for its commitment to sustainability at the prestigious Environmental Packaging Awards 2025 in London. In addition to two gold awards, the company also received two silver and one bronze award for its packaging solutions and environmental initiatives.
Coveris impressed the jury at the awards ceremony with its holistic approach to sustainable packaging. The company was particularly honoured with the Gold Award in the „Sustainable Packaging Company of the Year“ category. The decisive factors were the clear strategic direction, measurable progress on ESG targets and Group-wide commitment to the „No Waste“ vision. This includes specific environmental targets, dealing with regulatory changes and developing sustainable packaging technologies.

Coveris received another Gold Award for its recyclable MonoFlexP PaperFeel film, which was developed together with Cranswick for the Lidl brand Butcher's. The packaging for chilled sausage products impresses with its paper-like feel and environmental friendliness.
Coveris was honoured with a silver award in the „Sustainable Investment Project of the Year“ category. for a new nitrogen generation system which provides the Spalding labelling site with a self-sufficient supply of this resource and at the same time offers ecological advantages.

The company's own recycling company ReCover also received recognition: the plant was honoured with the Silver Award as „Recycler of the Year“ for processing over 10,000 tonnes of production and customer waste.
