Consumers who buy Pritt and Loctite adhesives online will now receive their products in more sustainable packaging. The new padded mailing bags are based on Henkel's innovative EPIX technology and protect the products on their way to the e-commerce customer. The packaging consists of 90 per cent recycled paper and is certified as recyclable by the cyclos-HTP institute.

Online shopping has made it much easier to buy adhesives such as Pritt and Loctite for home use. Now, in some e-commerce channels, this purchase is also becoming much more sustainable, as products from these brands are delivered to customers in padded shipping bags that are equipped with Henkel's patented Epix technology are. This technology extends the functionality of paper and makes it possible to reduce the use of plastic for product packaging.

The new mailing bags require less material than conventional packaging solutions, as they are specially customised for the products offered by Pritt and Loctite in e-commerce. This eliminates the need for secondary packaging, This reduces the consumption of cardboard and plastic packaging. As the packaging is easier and quicker to open, the products are ready for immediate use after delivery by courier service. The mailing bags also have an anti-tamper device.

In addition, Epix mailing bags offer a Higher impact resistance than conventional bubble envelopes or other paper packaging and thus optimise the protection of the products on their way to the consumer.
