Growth opportunities in a stagnating print market? They do indeed exist. The growing interest in nNew packaging printing solutions and eco-inks in sheet-fed offset printing, especially at print shops in the DACH region, is something that Epple Druckfarben AG wants to promote with customer proximity, fast service and competent application technology. New mixing stations show that the concept can work.
Whether sustainable packaging printing solutions, conventional and UV ink series or new approaches in the food sector: Epple develops and produces all inks for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) in Germany. To this end, the Neusässer-based company is constantly optimising its processes and services.
One example is the cooperation with Heinrich Steuber GmbH + Co, Mönchengladbach, which is due to start shortly. They will include the „Steuber sprint“ colour and logistics concept in their range. Special colours from Epple mix, deliver directly and also offer a special service: If a customer wishes to have the special colour rubbed off, they will receive a sample of the special colour on the customer's printed fabrics.
New mixing station has proved its worth
The new „Ostwestfalen“ mixing station has been in operation at Epple for just under a year and has proven its worth: Customer proximity pays off. Print shops in the important sales regions of Westphalia and the Ruhr and neighbouring regions appreciate the direct and even more Faster supply with the desired sheet-fed offset inks.

German and Austrian customers should send their orders to the order acceptance centre in Neusäß, Swiss customers to Hettlingen. The colour order is delivered directly from there.

The active service is important for Epple, as the DACH printing markets are among the leading and most demanding in the world. In future, the application technology and technical sales experts at Conversion of many print shops to new eco-colour systems.
The complete package of the BoFood series is therefore increasingly in demand. It consists of harmonised Epple products that are harmless to migration for the exterior and interior printing of food packaging as well as a corresponding effect coating.
