The Epsotech Group is continuing its strategic reorganisation and concentrating its production more strongly in Europe. The closure of the Epsotech Germany site is intended to streamline structures, utilise resources more efficiently and secure long-term competitiveness, according to the statement. Other locations such as Skender GmbH in the UK, France, Italy and Austria are not affected by this decision.
According to the company, production in Jülich will continue until the end of September. The site is not part of Skender GmbH, which has been operating independently of Epsotech Germany since 1 July 2025. The impact on sales of the product portfolio in Germany is currently estimated to be minimal.
Reorganisation without consequences for Skender GmbH
Skender GmbH operates largely independently with its European production sites Epsotech UK, Epsotech France, Axipack, Epsotech Italy and Epsotech Austria. The strategy, which runs under the motto „Just You and Your Sheets“, aims to increase efficiency and secure the Group's future viability.
Axipack takes over polyolefin business
Parts of Epsotech Germany's polyolefin business will be continued at the Axipack site in future. This bundling is intended to create synergies and secure the supply of customised plastic solutions for customers.
According to owner and CEO Predrag Skender, Epsotech is pursuing the goal of simplifying processes and focussing on the needs of customers. Thanks to the decentralised structure in four countries, flexibility, reliable delivery times and personal support are to be guaranteed.
With over 60 years of experience in the development of plastic solutions, Epsotech claims to be a leading supplier of extruded sheets and films in Europe. The focus is on complete recyclability and returning materials to the cycle.
