The specialist for industrial safety technology will be presenting innovative products for functional safety, data integration and more flexibility in automation at the SPS in Nuremberg.
Euchner is presenting numerous innovations and further developments at this year's SPS in Nuremberg. The focus is on modular safety solutions that enable a close link between safety technology and automation - including new variants of the MGB2 Modular safety system, an expanded IO-Link portfolio and the latest generation of EKS electronic key transfer systems.
More functions for MGB2 Modular
According to the company, new functions have been added to the MGB2 Modular. Among other things, an optional connection module adapter now enables the combination of two submodules in a single door handle module. New submodules are also being added to the product range, such as a module with two-colour LEDs and push-buttons with IP69 protection. A new die-cast zinc housing with an ergonomic design will also be making its debut at the trade fair.
IO-Link portfolio grows
Euchner also announces the expansion of its IO-Link portfolio. In addition to safety switches and interlocks with an IO-Link interface, the product family will also include key switches and gate boxes in the future. The aim is to further simplify data communication in machine automation and make diagnostic information more efficient to utilise.
EKS system with new features
A new generation of the EKS electronic key system will also be presented at the SPS. According to the manufacturer, the system offers numerous improvements in functionality and ease of use. It can be used wherever controlled access management and user-dependent authorisation of machine functions are required.
SPS - Smart Production Solutions - will take place from 25 to 27 November 2025 in Nuremberg and is one of the most important European trade fairs for industrial automation.
