Together with PEFerence organised Renewable Carbon Plastics is now organising the first PEF World Congress. The international conference will feature high-calibre presentations by experts from the industry and the entire value chain. The event will focus on HMF, FDCA and PEF as well as applications and end-of-life solutions. There will also be excellent networking opportunities and a table-top exhibition.

The 2-day conference will take place on 30 and 31 October 2024 in Düsseldorf as a hybrid event with the option of online participation.

PEF (polyethylene furanoate) is a new type of polyester made from 100 % plant-based raw materials. It is recyclable and is regarded as the packaging material of the future, particularly in the food and beverage sector, but also for textiles and more.
