EyeC will be presenting the new Proofiler Graphic Connect for automated quality control in prepress at Interpack 2026. The focus is on cloud-based inspection processes and AI-supported inspection systems for packaging and labels.
EyeC GmbH is using Interpack 2026 in Düsseldorf to present a new generation of its software solutions for print image control. The central innovation is the Proofiler Graphic Connect, a cloud-based software for automated artwork proofreading in prepress. The solution is aimed at packaging manufacturers, label printers and brand owners who want to digitise and speed up their quality control.
Proofiler Graphic Connect automatically compares print-ready files or step-and-repeat layouts with approved original artwork. As a system-independent SaaS solution, the software is designed to meet the requirements of the graphic arts industry and packaging production. EyeC particularly emphasises higher inspection speeds, improved usability and integration with existing workflow systems, including Esko Automation Engine and solutions from Hybrid Software.
AI-supported inline inspection
Another focus of the trade fair presentation will be on AI-supported inline inspection. EyeC will be demonstrating this technology within the ProofRunner product line live on the modular ProofRunner Web Evo, which is installed on a Bobcat BRM from French machine manufacturer DCM. The system enables complete inline inspection of labels and flexible packaging up to a web width of 600 millimetres. The image-based defect classification is designed to increase inspection accuracy and reduce false alarms.
EyeC will also be showcasing scanner-based offline systems from the Proofiler series, including the Proofiler 1200 DT and the Proofiler 600 DT. These solutions are designed for applications with particularly high quality requirements, for example in regulated markets. They are used for pharmaceutical packaging, package inserts and safety-critical printed products, among other things, and enable a complete sample inspection.
