Fachpack 2021 with a new brand identity

The European trade fair for packaging, technology and processes will take place as planned from 28 to 30 September 2021 at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg.

The registration documents were sent out to exhibitors at the beginning of May. After the 2020 break year due to the rotation Fachpack is launching with a clear profile and a new brand image with the slogan „We make the future“.

„Over the past few months, we have intensively analysed the positioning of Fachpack and spoken to many companies and partners. One thing became clear: the trade fair is an important signpost for the packaging industry and its users in Europe. Fachpack provides impetus for new ideas, sets trends and breaks new ground,“ says Heike Slotta, Executive Director Exhibitions at NürnbergMesse.

„Focus on “environmentally friendly packaging" and business trends

At the trade fair Recycled or recyclable packaging, resource-conserving materials, reusable packaging and systems as well as environmentally friendly processes presented. Materials, technology and processes are being rethought. With its new design line, Fachpack also wants to show that it not only creates business connections, but that the trade fair is also very personal. In the The logo, the PackPin, is at the centre of the new advertising presence, a kind of modern pin. In its shape, the PackPin indicates the location where something is currently being created, because this is where business people should meet idea finders and future makers.

After Corona, trade fairs contribute to the reactivation of businesses

In the near future, in September 2021 - one and a half years from now hopefully the corona issue will also be under control or even a thing of the past. It is not yet possible to predict exactly when this will be and how the economy will continue to develop. After the crisis, trade fairs help to boost companies' business again, reactivate existing customer contacts and establish new business contacts. After all, no webinar, video call or VR application can replace personal dialogue and handshakes between business partners in the long term, as is the case at trade fairs.
