It's finally starting. Fachpack has opened its doors and will be welcoming the European packaging industry to Nuremberg until Thursday. Over 1100 exhibitors will be showcasing innovative products, machines and solutions at the exhibition centre.
The Specialist pack this year's theme is “Transition In Packaging“, which describes the changes currently taking place in the industry. This is characterised above all by More sustainability, growing e-commerce and increasing digitalisation out. The main theme is reflected in the trade fair section, but also in the supporting programme. Visitors can expect an extensive lecture programme, exciting special shows and award ceremonies.
At the same time as the Specialist pack Powtech, the leading international trade fair for powder, granulate and bulk solids technologies, will take place at the exhibition centre this year. This creates additional synergies in the processing and packaging sector. Fachpack occupies nine exhibition halls, Powtech four. Both trade fairs are well connected by crossovers. Hall 4 is a so-called mixed hall with exhibitors who have offers for both bulk goods and packaging experts.
