FairCap acquires Nyco

The Swiss packaging company Nyco has been acquired by the Munich-based investment company FairCap. With its focus on resource conservation and recycling, the Kirchberg-based company fits in with the holding company's investment philosophy.

The Swiss packaging company Nyco has been acquired by the Munich-based investment company FairCap. With its focus on resource conservation and recycling, the Kirchberg-based company fits in with the holding company's investment philosophy.

Nyco specialises in the painting and coating of Plastic and aluminium foils as well as the production of blanks, shrink sleeves and roll goods for every type of application. In recent years, resource-saving and recyclable films have been successfully developed. The company has received national and international honoured with packaging awards.

Sustainability is also a core element of the holding company's investment philosophy. Jasper Delekat, Managing Partner of FairCap, says: „We want to support Nyco in this endeavour, realise its full potential as an independent company, to further develop pioneering sustainable packaging solutions and open up new markets.“

Roy van den Oudenhoven, General Manager of Nyco Flexible Packaging, is positive about the future collaboration with FairCap: „I am very proud that FairCap became aware of our achievements in the area of sustainability.
