Faller Packaging is expanding its production capacity with a new plant in Gebesee, Thuringia. Folding cartons and leaflets for the European market will be produced there from April 2025.
Faller Packaging is investing in the expansion of its production capacities and will open its new production facility in Gebesee, Thuringia, in April 2025. The packaging specialist took over the former All4Labels plant in autumn 2024 and adapted it to its own requirements.
The pharmaceutical and healthcare sector is growing steadily, and with it the need for sustainable packaging solutions. With the new site, Faller Packaging aims to shorten delivery times, increase production capacity and ensure greater delivery reliability for its customers.
Production volume and location advantages
At the new site, Faller Packaging will in future up to 650 million folding cartons and 160 million outserts per year additionally produce. The central location of the plant in Europe offers advantages for logistics and enables Flexible response to short-term orders and peaks in demand.
„By investing in the new site, we are strengthening our collaboration with our customers and at the same time creating a future for the region,“ explains Dagmar Schmidt, CEO of the Faller Packaging Group.
Qualified employees for the highest standards
In order to ensure the usual high product quality, the new employees - including many former employees of All4Labels - intensively trained. The induction at various Faller sites included training on the high pharmaceutical standards and the specialised machines used in Gebesee.
