Faller Packaging can look back on a successful 2021 financial year despite coronavirus and the difficult situation on the raw materials market.
In addition to the coronavirus pandemic, the challenges in the economic environment were the dominant topic at Faller Packaging last year. A sharp rise in demand worldwide led to supply bottlenecks and major price increases for raw materials. Nevertheless, the specialist for pharmaceutical packaging was able to further increase its turnover in the 2021 financial year.
„Despite all the adversities, the pharmaceutical and healthcare market continues to develop with good growth rates. As in previous years, 2021 saw a continuation of the Rising global demand for biopharmaceuticals - whether as originator products or biosimilars. The trend towards sustainable packaging solutions also intensified.“
