Faubel becomes CCL Faubel

Following the acquisition of CCL Industries Inc., the Faubel Group now operates under the new name CCL Faubel.

Following the acquisition of CCL Industries Inc., the Faubel Group now operates under the new name CCL Faubel.

Since August 2023, CCL Industries Inc. has held all shares in the Faubel Group, which is now at the beginning of 2024 officially under the name CCL Faubel is the new name. With the takeover, the world's largest label manufacturer, CCL, is expanding its organisational and operational capacities in the healthcare sector on the European market. The headquarters of CCL Faubel will remain in Melsungen.

CCL Industries Inc. employs over 25,000 people at 204 production sites in 43 countries. In 2022, the publicly traded company generated a total of 6.4 billion Canadian dollars, which equates to around 4.4 billion euros. In its Forecast for the future CCL Faubel Managing Director Frank Jäger emphasises that „although CCL Faubel is only a small part of the Group as an individual company, our special expertise is unique. As long as we retain this advantage, I anticipate sustainable growth for CCL Faubel.

The acquisition of the Faubel Group by CCL Industries Inc. has made CCL Faubel Part of the world's largest label manufacturer and manufactures labelling for the pharmaceutical and logistics industries in particular. The product portfolio includes paper and film labels as well as smart labels with e-paper and RFID technology.
