Together with the online platform for refillable packaging, Loop, and the French supermarket chain Carrefour, Ferrero is launching a project with a reusable Nutella jar.
Customers in France can then in 10 pilot shops and on the Carrefour website buy a specially designed Nutella jar with a deposit. Once the jar is empty, it can be returned to the Carrefour store. The empty containers are collected, then washed and refilled.

The Ferrero design team worked closely with the experts from Loop to develop the returnable jar. The result: a durable, hygienic container with an optimised label and seal that is easy to clean. Easy to remove during the wash cycle leave.

The project announcement is part of a recent announcement on the company's commitment to only use reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging by 2025. In this context, a new Recyclable packaging for children Happy Hippo developed, which made of polypropylene monomaterial and fulfils the CEFLEX guidelines for the recyclability of flexible films.
