Business for companies in the German folding carton industry was good last year. According to the Fachverband Faltschachtel-Industrie (FFI), the high level of consumer confidence also led to good growth for the folding carton industry.
In 2017, a total of 856,885 tonnes of folding carton products were produced, according to the FFI. This was 1.7 per cent more than in 2016, when business had declined slightly. German companies in the sector therefore represented a fifth of the total European production volume.
