The Swiss machine manufacturer Flexfactory presents its new „Flexfeeder“ series of feeders. The three new Flexfeeders are designed for feeding small parts and are all equipped with an integrated camera and toplight tower. The systems are compatible with almost any standard industrial robot.

The main difference between the three Flexfeeder models - X185, X250 and X350 - lies in their in the size of the supplied parts. The X185 is suitable for parts up to 60 millimetres, the X250 for parts up to 85 millimetres and the X350 for products up to 120 millimetres.

Minimised changeover times

The integrated camera and toplight tower is wired ready for operation, thus reducing the installation time of the system. The embedded touchscreen simplifies parameterisation and operation. During ongoing production, it provides Valuable status messages at runtime of the system to the operator. Thanks to the integrated camera and control system including touchscreen based on the latest feedware CX software every flexfeeder also becomes a partner for collaborative robots.

One of the main features of the Flexfeeder range is its versatility. Thanks to Minimal changeover times for product changes, Fully automatic emptying of the remaining contents and the Option to change the feeder surface without tools The devices are particularly suitable for companies in which many different small parts are processed. The corresponding parts can be taught in production itself or in advance in the test laboratory of Flexfactory AG and its sales partners. The system accesses this preset during operation. When changing parts, only the product-compatible or customised feeder surfaces need to be replaced.
