Sealing cartons with different formats at high speed? The new CS Random HS case sealer makes it possible. The Lantech machine combines flexibility with speed and is therefore even suitable for applications in which several packaging lines are brought together for closing.
The new carton sealer also maintains the perpendicularity of the cartons, which is important for an efficient logistics chain and stability, thus preventing machine jams. The CS Random HS is Available in versions for sealing with adhesive tape or hot glue and can be easily integrated into packaging lines. Users can achieve speeds of up to 25 cycles per minute (adhesive tape) or up to 17 cycles per minute (hot melt). Thanks to an upstream signal or a camera at the infeed, the machine recognises the carton formats being fed in and adjusts itself automatically. This allows flexible processing of cartons with dimensions between 200 mm x 150 mm x 120 mm and 620 mm x 510 mm x 500 mm.
Absolute control over the carton
Automatically adjusted feed systems ensure the correct loading with sufficient space between the cartons, which prevents jams. Rollers move the cartons to spring-loaded side belts, which hold them in place and can adapt to the smallest deviations in carton width. The pre-folding of the short front lid flaps prevents damage and minimises the risk of damage. optimised the reliability of the packaging process. During transport through the machine, the long lid flaps are also pressed down and remain in this position until they enter the sealing unit. The sealed cartons are absolutely square.
