The Flint Group has now announced the merger of the two divisions Flint Group Flexographic and Xeikon Prepress to form the new business unit XSYS. The aim is to strengthen the range of complete solutions for flexographic and letterpress printing with the three divisions for printing plates, sleeves and prepress technology.
The supplier of consumables and services for packaging printing wants to with the formal reorganisation to further strengthen co-operation and innovation in the interests of the Group and its customers. The two divisions have already been working closely together for some time in flexographic and letterpress printing.

This entire portfolio is offered under the umbrella brand XSYS, so that all existing brands remain in place and be further supported on the market. „We are certain that we will further strengthen our position by combining these products,“ says Schmidt.
XSYS is headquartered in Stuttgart. The new business division is based at 37 locations worldwide and remains one of the largest global suppliers to the prepress industry. Its product portfolio includes solutions for flexographic and letterpress printing, such as printing plates, sleeves, processing equipment, workflow solutions and professional services.
