XSYS is introducing a new innovation to increase efficiency and reduce waste in the production of flexographic printing plates. The ThermoFlexX Catena-BE 48 automates the platform transfer between imager and imaging unit.
The Catena-BE48, which comprises both hardware and software components, enables a Seamless integration with the ThermoFlexX TFxX 48 imager. This integration is facilitated by a bridge that enables this automation and creates an efficient and contact-free workflow. The Catena-BE 48 has a precision gripping system that ensures that no panel material is lost during transport.
With this innovative method, the TFxX 48 imager can be pre-loaded and prepared for the next job while the previous plate is automatically transferred to the Catena-E 48 LED platesetter. This Automation not only saves a lot of time, The new system ensures that job presets are maintained throughout the process, preventing configuration errors, avoiding waste and increasing efficiency.
