Schäfer Container Systems, manufacturer of container systems (KEGs) for beverages as well as Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) and special containers made of stainless steel, is expanding its portfolio and is now offering a frameless stainless steel reusable container, the SCHÄFER Cube.

The Container in lightweight construction can be used for the storage and transport of goods in the pharmaceutical, chemical, food, mineral oil, paint and varnish industries, among others.

Ergonomic design

Thanks to its frameless design and reduced overall height, the SCHÄFER Cube is a space-saving and stackable variant among the IBCs. The ergonomic design results in improved storage and transport properties, which is why up to to 40 SCHÄFER Cubes fit into a 40-foot overseas container or 44 into a lorry. Compared to conventional IBCs, this is around half as much. In addition, the deep-drawn base, which minimises dead space, allows the container to be emptied more easily. The reusable container is approved in accordance with Regulation EC No. 1935/2004 and certified in accordance with UN dangerous goods legislation (ADR/UN 31 A/Y up to 2.0 kilograms per litre).

„Thanks to its new design, the SCHÄFER Cube not only offers space savings with less weight. At the same time, the IBC has a lower overall height and can therefore also be used with filling systems that are designed for plastic containers,“ says Christof Ermert, Head of Sales IBC at Schäfer Container Systems.
