At Fachpack 2024, Berry Global will be presenting innovative plastic packaging that can help companies achieve their sustainability goals. The range includes recyclable and reusable solutions for various industries, without compromising on the functionality or aesthetics of the packaging.
On the Specialist pack Presented in 2024 Berry Global a variety of innovative packaging solutions that emphasise reduction, reuse and recycling. The company shows how its products for the Food and non-food sector could contribute to achieving customers' sustainability goals.
One highlight of the trade fair is the new flow restrictor for sauce closures, which is made of polypropylene (PP) and offers recyclability thanks to a Standardised material design improved. Industrial containers with a robust plastic handle, which increases recyclability compared to a metal handle, will also be presented.
Another exhibit is the Proxima swing stopper, which is characterised by a Tamper-evident tape reduces the risk of sealing waste. Berry is also presenting a range of lightweight packaging, such as the Sava Flip Top closure for sauces, and specially developed closures for the edible oil market, which enable both weight reduction and clean pouring.
Berry also shows Reusable cups for hot and cold drinks, which are dishwasher safe, lightweight and recyclable. The company will also be showcasing its proprietary CleanStream technology, the first in the UK to offer mechanically recycled polypropylene for touch-sensitive applications. In flexible packaging, Berry will be showcasing its Omni Xtra+ polythene cling film and Entour mono-material laminated films, which are made with Conforms to current European recycling standards and represent an alternative to composite materials that are difficult to recycle.
