Francesca Ricupero has strengthened Fujifilm's Italian packaging team with her many years of industry experience. The inkjet and label printing expert has been appointed Sales Manager Packaging & Flexo at Fujifilm Italy.
With over 15 years of experience in digital and conventional printing, Ricupero brings extensive expertise in labelling and flexible packaging solutions. Her new role at Fujifilm involves the strategic development of the packaging business in Italy - with a particular focus on digital applications in the flexible packaging sector.
Market expertise, technological strength and a clear focus
Ricupero began her career in marketing and events before moving to HP in 2008. There she initially worked in the Indigo segment and was later responsible for the Commercial Printing and Publishing divisions. She then moved to Bobst, where she was responsible in particular for the northern Italian label market in the field of conventional, digital and hybrid printing systems.
„Digital printing must be scalable and efficient - without excessive complexity,“ says Ricupero. She was particularly impressed by Fujifilm's consistent focus on future-proof inkjet technology. During a visit to the British company Eco Flexibles, operator of the first Jet Press FP790 outside Japan, she was impressed by the performance of the system.
Strategic growth with a view to the future

Ricupero itself also sees Labelexpo as a platform for new impetus: „The trade fair has evolved considerably. It now covers the entire spectrum of the packaging world - and many converters are looking for new applications. I'm looking forward to representing Fujifilm there and actively helping to shape these developments.“
