The production and assembly of high-precision plastic components has qualified the company for many years, particularly in the manufacture of plastic parts for the Cosmetics and food industry. The extensive refurbishment completed at the beginning of the year means that the ISO 7 class cleanroom (10,000 particles <0.1 mm) in Sundern-Hagen is now state of the art. As a result, Menshen now has an ultra-modern and economical cleanroom production facility.

In addition to its headquarters in Finnentrop and a production facility in Sundern-Hagen as well as a competence centre for special machine construction and assembly in Plettenberg-Kahley, the company also has production facilities and branches in Switzerland, Russia, the UK, France, Spain, the USA, Mexico, Singapore and China.

Focus on the Asian market

The rapidly growing Asian market, particularly in the cosmetics and food industries, is also demanding more and more products and therefore suitable packaging and closures that must fulfil strict requirements. Those responsible recognised this increasing demand very early on and installed a cleanroom production facility at the production site in Shanghai five years ago. This was followed at the beginning of 2014 by another cleanroom at the newly built production site in Guangzhou. This means that the specialist has both the expertise and Sufficient capacities for the emerging markets.

Quality top priority

At all three sites, the quality and purity of the closure elements produced have top priority. From the Injection moulding machines, which produce directly in the cleanroom, the plastic parts, which are sterile thanks to the high processing temperatures, are transported to the cleanroom work area via conveyor belts or a special handling system. There they are double-packed, prepared for despatch and dispatched.

Medically pure compressed air

Through a constant overpressure in the cleanrooms ensures that dust particles from outside do not enter the relevant production area. In addition, special Pre-filter and ultra-fine filter ensures that over 99 per cent of all airborne particles are absorbed. 20 times per hour, the entire Air volume of the clean room exchanged. This corresponds to a total air exchange of 160,000 m3 per hour. Even the compressed air used for the assembly of individual components is germ-free if required.
