His father Gerald Schubert was already the Managing Director responsible for Schubert Packaging Systems GmbH. Now his 31-year-old son Johannes Schubert is following in his footsteps. From 1 July 2021, he will take on a Managing Director position at the subsidiary of the Crailsheim-based packaging machine manufacturer.
As product manager, Schubert junior was responsible for the development of the Schubert Flowmodul for two years and played a key role in its successful market launch. The Flowmodul is a product milestone in the company history of the Gerhard Schubert GmbH. The flexible and multifunctional flow-wrapping machine is used for a wide variety of products: chocolate bars, biscuits, cakes, chocolate figures, yoghurt pots or even ice cream are securely packaged in a wide range of format sizes and packaging materials.
Johannes Schubert has two experienced Schubert colleagues at his side. After 16 years, Peter Gabriel has handed over his role as Managing Director of Schubert Packaging Systems GmbH to the man from the third generation. However, he will continue to support the Schubert offspring as Commercial Director of the parent company and, together with the long-standing and experienced Managing Director of Schubert Packaging Systems Olaf Horrenberger, as a mentor. Olaf Horrenberger and Johannes Schubert will jointly manage the business of Schubert Packaging Systems from July 2021.
