The German Packaging Institute e. V. (dvi) has extended the submission phase for the German Packaging Award 2021 until 31 May 2021.
„By extending the deadline, we are responding to numerous requests from companies that have not yet been able to finalise their submission due to an increased workload,“ explains dvi Managing Director Winfried Batzke. „The additional two weeks now give all interested parties the opportunity to submit their products or prototypes.“
According to the dvi, the most renowned European showcase for packaging is organised under the patronage of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy. The competition covers all materials and is open to entries from Germany and abroad.
German Packaging Award 2021: Categories and Gold Award
Entrants can choose from 10 categories. The independent jury is made up of a broad-based panel of experts from business, research, education and the media. All submissions are scrutinised over the course of a two-day meeting according to fixed, category-specific criteria. „In addition to the Packaging Award, the jury can also recognise particularly exclusive Gold Awards for innovations that stand out even from the illustrious circle of packaging award winners,“ says Batzke. The award ceremony and the announcement of the Gold Awards will take place on 28 September 2021 at Fachpack.
„By winning the Packaging Award, companies document their outstanding innovative strength and gain tangible arguments in their communication with customers, consumers, partners, future employees and their own team,“ emphasises Batzke. Submissions are made via a Online form on the homepage of the packaging award. The dvi also provides information about the categories and assessment criteria of the competition.
