Aldi Süd receives award for packaging made from recycled plastic

Young talent award for design students at FH Münster

Syntegon wins packaging award for packaging machine
A picker technology based on linear motors ensures gentle handling when scoring Syntegon. The technology also makes it possible to reduce the space required from the infeed conveyor to the packaging machine.

The Protector Bag ExpandForm was developed in collaboration with Megaflex foam. The innovative packaging not only contributes to reduction of plastic waste, but also ensures product protection and easy handling during transport and storage of rolled mattresses. Their design and strength ensure secure packaging that retains its shape. Megaflex plans to switch its entire range of mattress roll packaging to paper packaging by the end of 2023.
