German Packaging Congress invites you to an online event

Under the motto „No lockdown for sustainability and innovation“, the German Packaging Congress is hosting an online event on 17 and 18 March 2021.

Under the motto "No lockdown for sustainability and innovation", the German Packaging Congress invites you to the online event on 17 and 18 March 2021.

The virtual "Summit of leaders and decision-makers" offers short presentations, talks and discussion panels on top aspects of sustainability, digitalisation and innovation.

The high-calibre line-up is correspondingly Panel of workshops and discussion roundswhich includes the actor and environmental activist Hannes Jaenicke as well as NABU's Environmental Policy Officer, WWF's Managing Director Markets and Business, Nestlé's Head of Corporate Packaging and the Schwarz Group's Senior Professional Plastics Strategy "REset Plastic".

The owner of Werner & Mertz, the Head of Sustainability and Packaging Development at FRoSTa, the Head of Science Communication at Procter & Gamble, the Director of Sustainability Strategy at BASF, the CEO of DSD Holding, the Head of Global Packaging at Reckitt Benckiser and the environmental policy spokeswoman for the FDP parliamentary group will also be present.

German Packaging Congress focusses on key topics

"At the congress, we will be scrutinising the global significance of the circular economy in numerous short presentations, panel discussions and talks," explains Cheng. "For example, we will be focussing on the technical and political framework conditions for recyclatediscuss different approaches to sustainability and recycling, look at the potentials, hurdles and possible conflicts of objectives of a circular economy for packaging, address the Challenges with paper compositesprovide the latest insights into Plastic tax and showcase best practice examples of sustainability. We will also take a look at artificial intelligence in companies and gain insights into Generation Z."

Via a special B2B matchmaking tool congress participants also have the opportunity to hold individual meetings with other participants in order to generate leads, network with new contacts or maintain existing contacts.
