After a break due to the coronavirus pandemic, German machine manufacturer Getecha will be exhibiting again at this year's Fakuma in Friedrichshafen. Using selected exhibits, it will provide an insight into its portfolio of size reduction and recycling systems for use in injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding technology.
In addition to presenting several central and side mills from the RotoSchneider range, the company will also be focusing on the aspects of customer orientation, automation and energy efficiency.
As an eye-catcher, a mighty hopper mill RS 45090 forms the visual centrepiece at this year's Fakuma-booth from Getecha. It is one of the medium-sized systems of the RotoSchneider generation, which is suitable for centralised use in the Plastics and recycling technology suitable. Two stator knives and three or five rows of rotor knives operate in the grinding chamber. The grinding housing has effective sound insulation and, thanks to a drive that is positioned upwards and integrated into the housing, the grinder is compact and requires little floor space. With the right design, a single RS 45090 can replace the working volume of three different applications
Customer-specific optimisation as a central task
Another highlight at the trade fair stand of Getecha is the clean room grinder of the GRS 180 series. These slim-designed beside-thepress grinders are considered the ideal solution for use in plastics technology production lines with increased hygiene and cleanliness requirements. As the „big sister“ of this grinder, the Aschaffenburg-based plant manufacturer is also presenting a GRS 300, which - depending on the type of material and screen perforation - grinds around 80 kg/h. In a raised version, the GRS 300 can be used not only as a side mill, but also as a small centralised mill.
„The customer-specific optimisation of our shredding solutions has now become a central area of activity for our engineering department. We now have extensive expertise in the implementation of customised, automated and energy-efficient system solutions and can act very flexibly,“ emphasises Getecha Managing Director Burkhard Vogel.
Across all the granulators in the RotoSchneider families, Getecha dedicates a great deal of attention to the aspect of Energy efficiency a major focus. In addition to presenting its Energy-Safe system, the company will therefore be providing detailed information at Fakuma about the drive and control technology options it will be offering its customers in this area in the future.
