Gmund Papier produces its collection of high-quality design papers from 100 per cent recycled paper. Gmund Used is now available in ten new colours.
The Gmund Used design collection is made from 100 per cent recycled paper, 80 per cent of which comes from a recycled pulp bleached in the deinking process (DIP)the FSC®-is certified. The company obtains a further 20 per cent from sorted packaging material collected at the production site in Gmund am Tegernsee. In this way, a high-quality Gmund design paper is created in a cycle from paper that has already been used.
Thanks to its high strength, the design collection Particularly suitable for packaging projects. The Gmund Eco certificate logo also guarantees resource-conserving production. Sustainable production has always been a priority at Gmund Papier. According to the family-run company, it has succeeded in reducing water consumption in paper production by 70 per cent in recent decades thanks to an ozone purification system. With the help of hydropower, solar energy and combined heat and power generation, up to 75 per cent of the company's energy also comes from its own production.
