Graphic Packaging International has comprehensively modernised its site in Poznań, Poland. The company installed six state-of-the-art systems in order to expand the production of premium packaging for cosmetics and food brands and increase efficiency at the same time.
The investments are aimed at two market segments: In the beauty sector, the plant is expanding its capacity for high-quality cardboard packaging for perfumes and care products, for example. New printing and security functions - including inline cold foil stamping, several varnishing options and coding with serial QR codes and fluorescent inks - enable detailed designs and better brand protection through seamless traceability.
Food and retail brands also benefited from the modernisation. Automation, robotics and new high-performance printing machines are intended to speed up production and reduce waste. According to Ellie Patterson, Vice President Sales Food, Wellness & Flexibles - International, this is „not just an investment, but a clear commitment“ to establishing the site as a leading centre of excellence for efficient and sustainable packaging solutions.
The measures support Graphic Packaging's „Vision 2030“ strategy to become the global market leader for sustainable consumer packaging.
