Hakle presents paper packaging for toilet paper

Hakle presents the first paper packaging for its toilet paper. After 100,000 units produced, almost one tonne of polyethylene is to be saved. The switch to 100 per cent recyclable packaging is part of Hakle's sustainability strategy.

Hakle presents completely recyclable paper packaging for its toilet paper. According to the Düsseldorf-based company, this emphasises its commitment to a responsible approach to nature and its resources.

The first in the series on avoiding unnecessary plastic in the area of packaging is Hakle with the introduction of a four-pack of toilet paper called "Papier Pur Natürlich sanft". All pulp comes from sustainable forestry and do without Microplastics. The company sees the change in outer packaging as a consistent continuation of its sustainability strategy. Consumers are assured of the desired high level of product safety across the entire product range.

"Feel-good cushion" for more comfort

Like all Hakle toilet papers, the special edition features the innovative "feel-good cushions", a special Embossingwhich encloses the air between the individual layers of paper and is intended to provide even more softness. All tissue products are made from natural fibres, renewable wood fibres manufactured.

At the Fresh pulp the manufacturer works exclusively with the pulp supplier UPM a pioneer in sustainable forestry and pulp production. The wood comes from forests and plantations that are managed sustainably and therefore fulfil the FSC seal are allowed to wear.
