Harro Höfliger, a company specialising in production and packaging machines, has more than doubled its laboratory space by opening a new laboratory. A total of more than 120 square metres are now available.

Elke Sternberger-Rützel, Head of Pharma Services: „Two laboratories with different specialisations offer even more analysis options. In the new laboratory, we specialise entirely in powders. From now on, our existing laboratory will be all about liquids and instrumental analysis.“ With the laboratories, the company wants to offer its customers early on in the product development process.

As part of the remodelling work, both laboratories have received additional equipment, such as a 3D scanning microscope and systems for measuring ultra-fine particles. The laboratory also received a second New Generation Impactor (NGI), a kind of aerodynamic flow model of the lungs.
