Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG and Gallus are presenting new machine solutions at Labelexpo Europe 2025 in Barcelona. The aim is to support label printers in coping with current market requirements such as shorter runs and shorter throughput times - with an expanded, networked product portfolio.
Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) and the Gallus Group have announced their joint appearance at Labelexpo Europe 2025 Two new machine solutions for intelligent and networked label production on. The labelling industry is under considerable pressure due to falling margins and growing demands. With their innovations, Heidelberg and Gallus want to help increase efficiency and productivity and strengthen the market position of label converters.

According to market forecasts, the The digital printed labels segment is expected to grow to a volume of over 20 billion US dollars over the next ten years. System to Compose: focus on modularity and partnerships
The Gallus „System to Compose“ concept, which offers modular and scalable solutions for label producers, will take centre stage at the trade fair. These can be Seamlessly combine with the Heidelberg ecosystem and with technologies from external partners. Among other things, new sheet-fed offset solutions for wet-glue and in-mould labels, the Prinect workflow solution and Gallus Screeny, Services and ClassicsHeidelberger Gallus will be presented.

Digital innovations provide new impetus
The technological highlights include the new MatteJet solution for the Gallus One, which enables a high-quality matt finish in digital inline label production. This was developed at the Gallus Experience Centre and launched at the beginning of 2025. It complements the existing portfolio centred around the Gallus One and the modular Heidelberg Gallus platform concept.
