Expansion to other companies, sectors and regions planned

Heidelberg sees taking over service tasks and customer service for third-party companies as a first step. This is because the company also has extensive Expertise in parts distribution and spare parts logistics with a delivery capability within 24 hours almost anywhere in the world and also has the corresponding capacities with its worldwide logistics centres.

The company is therefore planning to expand its range to include other areas that are a strategic fit for the company in order to further strengthen its market position through synergies and recurring sales. Potential customers are up-and-coming international mechanical engineering companies in growth sectors, which, however, do not have their own branch or service organisation in every region or market.
