Herrmann Ultraschall has appointed Jörg Zech as Chief Operating Officer (COO). With this personnel decision, the ultrasonic welding specialist is strengthening its operational division and intends to further develop structures and processes, particularly at its headquarters in Karlsbad, in order to support sustainable growth.
In his new role, Zech will assume responsibility for the further development of the operational organisation. The aim is to create measurable added value for customers through optimised processes and clear structures. The initial focus will be on ensuring product quality, on-time delivery through efficient production processes, fast service and organisational development.
„We are already well positioned in many areas. Now it's time to take our operational processes to the next level and consistently deliver outstanding quality to our customers while we continue to grow as an organisation. I see great drive and strong collaboration throughout the organisation. This is what convinced me about Herrmann Ultraschall from day one and I look forward to helping shape the future of the company.“
COO Jörg Zech
International experience in sales and operations
Zech has many years of international experience in the areas of operations and sales. As a result, he brings with him a strong understanding of customer requirements, which he will be able to contribute directly to the optimisation of operational performance, according to the company.
Before joining the family-run company in Karlsbad, Zech worked for 25 years at Semikron Danfoss, a global supplier in the field of power electronics. There, he initially built up global sales organisations and spent several years as Managing Director abroad. From 2013, he moved into operations and was most recently responsible for the relevant business areas as Vice President Operations.
At Herrmann Ultraschall, Zech joins the management team with Thomas Herrmann, Chief Executive Officer, and André Deponte, Chief Sales Officer.
