With the new Woodacity Hidden closure, Quadpack has completely replaced plastic with wood from sustainable forestry. The innovative design combines luxury with environmental awareness and is aimed at premium brands in the cosmetics sector.
The new Woodacity Hidden perfume cap from Quadpack focuses on sustainability and aesthetics. The Monomaterial lid is made entirely of wood which comes from controlled, sustainable forestry. According to Quadpack, the patented technology offers an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional plastic closures without compromising on function or design.
Production takes place at the Spanish plant of Quadpack, whereby a Biodegradable water-based adhesive seamlessly connects the two components of the lid. The inner profile of the two-part closure is skilfully concealed and ensures a minimalist, elegant look. According to the manufacturer, the design enables both click and friction fittings that are compatible with various pump mechanisms.
Environmentally friendly options are also the focus of customisation. Customers can choose from a Wide range of decoration options that enhance the appearance without compromising sustainability. On request, customised external shapes can be created to emphasise brand identities. Quadpack offers FSC-certified wood for maximum transparency.
The lid can be disposed of after use without time-consuming separation, which makes it easier to recycle. The market launch of Woodacity Hidden is planned for the end of autumn 2024. With this innovation, Quadpack aims to offer premium brands a solution that combines luxury and sustainability.
