Party kegs with documented product safety

„Huber Packaging“ from Öhringen claims to be the first manufacturer in the world whose tinplate party kegs have been awarded the „FSSC 22000“ certificate. The certification of the „Food Safety System Certification“ management system documents the food safety of all materials used.

With the FSSC certification closes Huber Packaging This is in line with the practice of large national and international breweries, which follow the FSSC standards themselves and expect the same from their partner companies. The audit at Huber was carried out by TÜV Nord Austria and will now be repeated every year.

For 45 years, Huber Packaging has been offering the popular Five-litre beer kegs on. Since then, a number of technical innovations relating to the drinkable product have been presented. In 1998, for example, the family business launched the first party keg with a built-in tap.
